Greetings from James H. Blackwell Elementary School, home of the Bears! Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about our school community, including our amazing students, our loving staff, our supporting families, partners, and our exciting programs. 

We are thrilled to welcome both our returning families and those joining our school community for the first time. We hope this letter finds you and your family well-rested and ready for the new academic adventures that lie ahead. Our dedicated staff has been working diligently to prepare for a successful year filled with enriching learning experiences, engaging activities, and opportunities for personal growth.

As we embark on this new academic journey, we are committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where every student can thrive. Your support and involvement are essential to creating a positive and productive school experience for your scholar. It is critically important to have updated phone and email contact information. As a school, we will continue to strive to fulfill our motto, “Scholarly Bears Show Their P.A.W.S.” We are making a pledge to Be Prepared, Attend School Everyday, Work Hard, and Show And Practice Respect as we prepare to move through the 2024-2025 school year.

We are excited about the many events and activities planned for this school year, and we look forward to your participation and engagement. Together, we WILL make this school year a memorable and successful one.
